Alt. A/C & Power steering w/ 45 Degree Motor Mounts
March Performance Style Track Alternator, A/C Compressor, and Power steering bracket kit.
1949-1953 Flathead Ford billet aluminum a/c alternator & powersteering setup with a serpentine belt. This kit is designed to work with 45 degree motor mounts. The setup will dress up any Flathead Ford engine while adding power steering, an a/c compressor, and a 105 amp alternator. The brackets are poslihed with clear powder coating; the clear powder coating protects the finish and eliminates polishing of the aluminum at a later date. The setup is designed to run two idler pulleys, the p/s pump, a/c compressor and alternator, plus both water pumps. The power steering pump sits in the center of the engine under the compressor and alternator. The kit uses a Corvette Type 3 remote power steering unit. The power steering pulley is billet aluminum with a nose cover. The idler pulleys provide plenty of belt tension to prevent the belt from slipping. The Sanden Style 7176 compressor has a cubic inch displacement of 6.10 which will provide enough circulation of the oil and refrigerant for any aftermarket a/c system.
- The kit includes:
- 105 amp alternator (Chrome or polished)
- Chrome Sanden Style 7176 compressor
- Billet A/C compressor clutch cover
- Alternator / A/C compressor bracket
- Two flathead ford water pumps
- Billet Crank pulley
- Two idler pulleys
- Corvette type 3 remote power steering pump
- Billet power steering pulley
- Billet power steering nose cover
- Bracket with mounting hardware
The kit will only work with a Center mount distributor, it will not work with an offset intake. The kit will require a 108" six rib serpentine belt, and PN: SD1604 compressor fittings. An optional billet power steering reservoir is recommended with this kit.
If polished aluminum is not your style you do have the option of black powder coating, black onyx, or chrome plated. See the drop down menu above for this free upgrade. The pictures of the black powder coated, chrome, and black onyx are for illustration only, they are not the actual setup.
