Buick 430 and 455 cubic Inch engine serpentine belt conversion kit.  This kit will convert your buick engine to a serpentine belt while adding an a/c and power steering.   The compressor and alternator bracket are setup on one main plate with a state of the art belt adjustment system.  The belt can be adjusted around the alternator, powersteering, a/c compressor, and idler pulleys with a belt tension tool.  The tool will move the compressor and alternator in sync to provide an even look while making certain the belt does not slip.   At the present time this is the only air conditioning compressor bracket available for these engines.   The setup uses a 105 amp alternator, and a Sanden style 7176 compressor.  This compressor has 6.10 cubic inch displacment which will provide enough circulation of oil and refrigerant for most aftermarket a/c systems.  The bracket is powder coated to protect the polished finish.  It is available in black powder coating and chrome as well.  See the drop down menu above.

  • The bracket conversion kit includes all brand new parts, which are listed below:
  • Chrome 105 Amp Alternator
  • Aluminum Alternator pulley with fan, and nose cover
  • Chrome Sanden style 7176 a/c compressor with aluminum clutch cover
  • Aluminum water pump
  • Aluminum water pump pulley
  • Alternator and A/C bracket with belt tensioning tool
  • Idler pulleys
  • Aluminum crank pulley (larger diameter for better accessory drive)
  • Type 2 remote power steering pump
  • Aluminum power steering pulley with nose cover
  • Power steering mount bracket
  • All necessary mounting hardware

The larger diameter crank pulley will allow the alternator, water pump, and a/c compressor to turn at a  higher RPM for maximum efficiency.  The kit will require a  six rib serpentine belt, and PN: SD1604 compressor fittings.  An optional billet power steering resevoir is recommeded with this kit.

The pictures is of a style track setup, it is not the actual engine.  The Buick setup has four idler pulleys, with a similiar setup as pictured. This bracket setup is made in the USA by March Performance, the pictures are provided by March Performance.
