Short horiztonal Oring drier with male oring threads. The drier is small enough to hide in the frame rail, under the fender well, near the condenser, or any other area that is out of sight. This drier will work with most aftermarket a/c systems. The drier is designed to sit horizontal not vertical.

3-3/4" long (cannister)
2-1/2" diameter
Male oring fittings (3/8 MIO or 5/8"-16 threads)
This filter drier can be used with R-12 or R-134a refrigerant.

The receiver drier is on the high side of the a/c system, between the condenser and evaporator (expansion valve). The drier in the video contains the industry standard 50 grams of silica desicant. In the video we came up with 48.9 (49) grams of desicant but after the video we realized we lost a little when pouring into the cup.
The purpose of the video is to explain to our customers how a drier is designed, and why it is so important to change it and install it properly. We felt if we cut it open a few driers and showed the insides our customers could better understand their purpose and how you can use R-12 or R-134a refrigerant. We also wanted to show how the drier filters out any debris in the system.
